- Note: Due to issues with Meet Manager not playing nice with the relay times there was a delay in posting team scores.
- Coaches need to check results (10/unders: there might be some swimmers from the 2nd wave that might be off please check carefully)
- Relays will be posted Tuesday or with Scores

There will a get together on Friday night after the session @ Dugan's Pub in Pinehurst, NC from 8-10PM. All are welcome!
Open Water 101
Psych Sheet UPDATED JUNE 2nd!!! All changes will now have to be made on site the day of the race
We would like to thank all the coaches and swimmers for their entries this year. There are a couple of points that coaches and swimmers need to be aware of:
A psych sheet will be posted today. Coaches please check for mistakes and email them by Monday and we will repost on Tuesday morning. Swimmers who registered online your entries will not be posted until Tuesday so please do not send emails that you are missing from the psych sheet.
- Athletes in multiple races will receive 1 chip for the weekend.
- Swimmers in 400 will need to turn in chips after race and will get the same chip the next day
- Swimmers who are swimming multiple races Saturday need only turn in their chips after there last race.
- Failing to turn in a chip $20
- Coaches and Official showing USA Swimming card may park at the lower soccer field but must enter through the Race Parking Gate NOT THE MAIN HOME OWNER GATE.
- Coaches please help in telling your parent to stay out of the emergence lane on the dam.
- We are looking to be about 600 athletes. This a new system so I am sure the will be a learning curve for all so patience is requested
- Results and Course boards will be placed in front of information tent.

Dear Competitors,
To continue running our meet at the highest possible standard, we have made some changes to how the Open Water Championships will be run this year.
First, we have contracted out with FS Series to help organize and run the event. They will be in charge of Open Competitor registration, timing, and event management, including race day registration. Please go to their website, www.fsseries.com, for these registrations. Team entries will still be done electronically using Hy-Tek, with Hy-Tek files being submitted directly to the Sandsharks Swim Club (www.sandshark.org).
Timing will be done using GPS chips, which will need to be collected at the end of each race and re-issued to swimmers in multiple races.
This year for USA Swimmers we have added a 1000M relay. Also, we have added THE POSEIDON AWARD for all swimmers that swim 5K-3K-2K.
We believe these changes will bring up to a higher level of competition and allow our meet to run more smoothly.
