Team Sponsor

For those that don’t know the Sandsharks have switched team sponsor to TYR this summer. TYR has been very good to us over the past 3 years with their help with our Open Water event. There are things we need to do as a team, one of which is to wear and use TYR products when at all possible. Below is a list of equipment the swimmers will need.

Training Equipment

Please remember equipment can vary in the effect that it produces for a swimmer. Each is very specific in how it helps during training. Please order the items designated for your child. We have looked for the best price and most reliable vendors. If you have a problem getting something let your coach know. 

SRI & SRII

• Sweats – There will be a try-on date sometime in November remember. We are now using TYR so we need to be in TYR sweats for he senior team picture.
• Shave suit
• Team Suit – Endurance (polyester)
• Positive drive fins
• Body board fins
• pull buoy
• paddles
• jr. kickboard

Age Group

• Team Sweats- cotton with SSS logo
• Team Suit
• Team Cap- worn at all meets
• Small Green paddles
• Small pull buoy for 10/under
• Normal long fins
• jr. kickboard

Most everything is on the web site for ordering at a later date, with exception of the kids sweats. There will also be two team shirt orders during the year.

Caps with name printed on them will be ordered for Championship season

We are aware that the cost of equipment, suits, etc. adds up.  Therefore, there is no need to try and get everything at once.
